A Preliminary Coaching Session + Personalized Strategy

We’ll begin with an in-depth coaching session to clarify your vision, goals, writing habits, challenges, and timeline. Together, we’ll create a customized strategy for your writing process so you always know what to focus on next.

Weekly Accountability + Mindset Check-Ins

You won’t be left alone to spiral every time the writing gets hard. Every week, you’ll receive accountability and mindset support to help you stay consistent, navigate self-doubt, work through resistance, and maintain momentum.

Two 1:1 Zoom Coaching Sessions Per Month

Twice monthly, we’ll meet via Zoom to discuss my notes on your pages, troubleshoot story problems, refine your process, work through creative blocks, review progress, plan what comes next, and adjust your strategy as needed.

An In-Depth Outlining Workshop

Before drafting begins, we’ll work together to build a strong story foundation through a dedicated outlining workshop. This gives you a solid framework to write from while still leaving room for creativity and discovery.

Up to 10,000 Words Evaluated Per Month

You’ll receive developmental insight on clarity, pacing, characterization, emotional impact, and overall story development. This ongoing feedback helps you improve as you draft instead of waiting until the very end to discover major issues.

A Developmental Edit on Your Finished Draft

Once you have incorporated the feedback and have completed your draft, I will evaluate it from beginning to end. The goal is to ensure that all of the scenes we worked on individually work seamlessly together as a whole.

A Copyedit on Your Final Draft

Your manuscript will receive a copyedit to correct typos, grammar, and punctuation errors, polish language and sentence structure, and ensure consistency and clarity. This also allows me one more pass to ensure all developmental issues have been addressed and prepares your manuscript for the next stage of your publishing journey

Unlimited Email Support

Whether you have questions between sessions, need help working through a plot point, or just need some encouragement before sending pages, you’ll have unlimited email support throughout the program so you never feel like you’re navigating the process alone.

Publishing Path Support

You’ll receive guidance based on your publishing goals. If pursuing traditional publication, you’ll receive support with synopsis development, query letter refinement, and submission preparation. If self-publishing, you’ll receive support with your back cover blurb, packaging guidance, and positioning your book for readers.

Please note that due to the highly personalized and time-intensive nature of this program, space is extremely limited.

How Long Will It Really Take?

With a goal of 10,000 words per month, you’ll make steady progress at a gentle pace. Our intention is to complete the entire process over the course of 12 months. Depending on genre, desired length, and writing speed, some writers may finish faster, and some may need a little longer. We'll determine your sweet spot in our first session and adjust as needed.

What Are the Terms?

Many coaches do not allow refunds for programs of this nature, and the main reason is that we want you to commit to the program and complete it. But I know all too well that life happens despite our best intentions. Paid in full clients are committing to the program in its entirety and are receiving a steeply discounted rate that is nonrefundable. However, the program may be paused due to significant life circumstances and re-started within one calendar year.

Payment plan clients are also commitmentting to the full program term, not a month-to-month membership. By enrolling in the program, clients are agreeing to complete the program and all scheduled payments. Clients may pause the program twice for up to 30 days each in the event of significant life circumstances. If circumstances require a complete withdrawal, the program may be terminated, though there will be no refunds of payments already made. Full terms for your chosen payment option will be specified in our coaching agreement.
